Selbst Gastfamilie werden / To become a host family, too

Vor einer Woche haben meine Familie und ich uns auch entschieden einen Gastschüler aufzunehmen. Also haben wir einige Formulare von "YFU" ausgefüllt und bekamen sofort eine Rückmeldung. Wir hatten auch sowas wie ein Interview auf deutsch, wo wir unsere Familie vorstellen sollten.
Wir haben uns dafür entschieden, da man an der einen Hand das Austausch Programm aus der Sicht der Gasteltern sehen kann, und ich damit schon mal weiß, wie sich die Gastfamilie vielleicht fühlt und an der anderen Hand ist meine Familie dann nicht so einsam, wenn ich weg bin.
Der Gastschüler wird im Februar ankommen. Das heißt, ich werde ein halbes Jahr mit ihm zusammen leben und das andere halbe Jahr kann er meine (arme, einsame) Familie unterstützen. ;-)
Ich habe aber eigentlich nicht vor in meinem Blog darüber zu schreiben, da das schon mein Papa vor hat.
Außerdem ist das ja nicht das Thema in meinem Blog. In diesem Blog möchte ich meine Reise in die andere Welt beschreiben und ihr könnt mich - wenn ihr wollt - auf diese große Reise begleiten.

One week ago my family and me decided to host an exchange student, too. So we filled in a form from "YFU" and they answered almost immediatly. Than there was something like an intrview. We had to introduse us as a family.
There are many reasons, why we decided to do it. On the one hand, we'll have the opportunity to see the exchange program from the view of the host family and I could get to know how my future host family might feel. On the other hand my family wouldn't be so lonely, when I'm in the United States.
The host student will arrive  in february, which means, that we'll live together for about a half year until I'll leave Germany. The other half year he could support my (poor, left) family ;-)
Actually I don't want to report about hosting an exchange student, because my dad will do so.
Besides it isn't the topic of my blog. My blog is about my great journey to the other world and if you want, you can come with me through my blog.
