Bewerbungsunterlagen (endlich) fertig / (Finally) Completed the application papers

Wow... Das war vielleicht ein Schreck!
Ich habe neulich eine Mail von TravelWorks erhalten, wo drin stand, dass meine Bewerbungsunterlagen unvollständig sind.
Meine erste Reaktion: Ich habe die Mail direkt an Papa weiter geleitet ;-) Der stellte dann fest, dass noch ein kleiner Teil von mir fehlte und dass Mama und Papa beide noch ein Häufchen Arbeit vor sich hatten. Unter anderen mussten sie ihren Brief an meine Gastfamilie noch mal überarbeiten.
Was er auch bemerkt hat war, dass mein Video, was ich für meine Gastfamilie gedreht hatte, gar nicht mit angefügt wurde. Deswegen kann man schon sagen, dass es gut war die Bewerbungsmappe nocheinmal bekommen zu haben, sonst hätten wir das nie gemerkt und die ganze Mühe wäre total umsonst gewesen.
Jetzt ist aber alles fertig und ich habe die Bestätigung bekommen, dass meine Mappe im Januar nach Amerika geht. Da fällt einem schon irgendwie ein Stein vom Herzen.

Wow... It was a big Shock when I received an e-mail from TravelWorks the other day. It said, that my application isn't completed and I had to fill in the missing gabs.
Well... My first reaction was to send this e-mail to my dad and he told me, that a little part for me and an even large part for him and mum is missing. For example: Mum and dad had to rework their letter to my future host family again.
The good part of the e-mail was, that we noticed that one of the most important part was missing, too. It's the film I made for my host family and it wasn't  linked right in my application. So basically it wasn't as bad to get such an e-mail as I firstly thought, because otherways it wouldn't worth it to make an extra work like this little film.
But now I'm finally done with all the application stuff and I just got the massage, that my application is completed now and they'll send it to the United States in January. It took a load off my mind.
